How do we Recycle?
Here at Balanced Budget Forever Skip Hire we have a shared Waste Transfer Station where we sort, process, and recycle the waste received. We try to recycle as much of the waste as possible to minimize the amount that has to be taken to landfills. We recycle around 85% of the waste which we receive.
- Hardcore (bricks, concrete, rubble) – this is crushed on-site and sold as crushed hardcore.
- Timber – this is either chipped on-site or taken to a local timber recycling centre where it is chipped and used to manufactured chipboard and other similar materials.
- Metals – are sorted and recycled.
Important Information

Due to the nature of our business, it is not possible for us to give you an exact delivery time, although we will always try our best to fit in with your plans.
Please ensure that the agreed position for the skip is clear of any obstruction.
Skips must be placed on private property: this may be on a driveway, hard-standing or garden area. Skips may not be placed on the public highway (e.g. road, grass verge, pavement) as we no longer deal with road permits issued by the council.
We can offer a wait and load service, this is a less expensive alternative to organising a permit and can be an option if a permit is refused by the council. The driver would bring the skip to your site and you would have 30mins in order to load the skip. Should it take longer than 30mins a waiting charge will apply.
Skips must always be level loaded, our drivers will refuse to collect overloaded skips, and extra charges may be incurred. It is an illegal offense for our drivers to carry overloaded skips.
The following items must not be put into skips: asbestos, tyres, refrigerators, freezers, gas bottles, toxic substances, batteries, television sets, computer monitor screens, fluorescent tubes. Special disposal of these items can be arranged.
In no circumstances should a fire be started in a skip.
Damaged skips will be charged for.
